Become an IBS Ambassador

The IBS marketing team wants YOU to join the team! Share your experience and help your fellow HBA members learn about the NAHB International Builders' Show® (IBS). Volunteer as an IBS ambassador and share the benefits of attending the building industry's biggest event!

Builders' Show Enthusiasts Wanted! 

What is the IBS Ambassador Program?Wood Flooring The IBS Ambassador Program gives NAHB members the opportunity to work with the IBS marketing team, share their love for IBS and help fellow members discover the benefits of attending annually.

Who is an ambassador? YOU, if you’re an IBS enthusiast, an NAHB member in good standing and have the desire to help your fellow members.

What is the role of an ambassador? To influence and increase their HBA’s presence at the show. Promotion of IBS at the local level is a key component to the overall success of the show. IBS ambassadors enhance the amazing work Executive Officers do for the show year round to expand member awareness and share the benefits of attending the show thorough their personal experience. 

What is the goal of the ambassador program? The program is structured to support the work that your Executive Officer does for the show year round. The ultimate goal is to strengthen the link between national and local advertising and increase your HBA's presence at the Builders' Show.

What happens once someone becomes an ambassador? The IBS marketing team creates tools for ambassadors to use to promote the show. Ambassadors have access to IBS photography, an FAQ about the show and talking points. There’s also a forum for ambassadors to connect and share ideas and experiences, as well as provide local member feedback to the IBS marketing team.

How does someone become an ambassador? An Executive Officer can suggest a potential ambassador by nominating a member from their HBA. Or, if you’re interested in becoming an IBS ambassador, you can submit the interest form and the IBS marketing team will contact your Executive Officer on your behalf to confirm eligibility.
