A credit card (valid through February, 2014) is required to secure the reservation. A deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax (12%) will be charged by the hotel to the card provided when the reservation is sent to the hotel in mid-January. By providing your credit card information you are agreeing to that charge. If you do not provide a credit card, a room will not be assigned. Checks are not accepted for hotel deposits. Hotel rates include a fee for transportation to and from the convention center.
Hotel Cancellation & Modification Policy
If you need to modify or cancel your hotel room reservation, please follow these guidelines:
On or before January 8, 2014: Room cancellations received on or before January 8, 2014, will be processed without penalty. Please send change or cancellation requests by email to NAHB@experient-inc.com, by fax to 301-694-5124 or by mail to: NAHB International Builders’ Show, Registration and Housing Office, c/o Experient, PO Box 4088 Frederick, MD 21705.
January 9 - January 16, 2014: All hotel reservations are being processed and transferred to the hotels. No cancellations or modifications may be made during this time. The hotel will charge a first night’s room and tax deposit to your credit card upon receiving your reservation.
Beginning Friday, January 17, 2014: Please refer to your hotel confirmation for the specific cancellation policy at your hotel. Failure to cancel your hotel reservation or check in will result in a first night’s room and tax penalty. Under no circumstances will NAHB be responsible for refunding or returning a processing fee or room deposit for a canceled room reservation nor will NAHB be responsible for any damages from a failure to cancel a reservation.
