Presentation Management System:
IBS Education utilizes a Presentation Management System (PMS) for speakers to submit presentations in advance (or in the Speaker Ready Room onsite) via a secure website and eliminate the need to carry your laptop to sessions.
Once submitted, presentations are electronically transferred to the presenter's assigned session room allowing for improved efficiencies during sessions. If only one presentation is being used, it only needs to be submitted once and it can be submitted by anyone on the program. If multiple presentations are being used, each presenter can upload their own presentation or one presenter can upload them all.
All speakers are required to upload presentations in advance at
http://IBS2012.sessionupload.com or in the Speaker Ready Room during the show at least 4 hours prior to each session.
For Step-by-Step Instructions, Speaker Ready Room information and Presentation Audio Visual Guidelines

support@presentationmanagement.com.
Arriving at the Education Session Room:
Please arrive at your session room 30 minutes prior to the start of your session. Moderator Talking Points will be available on the podium listing important housekeeping announcements that must be read at the beginning and end of each session. Either the moderator or individual speaker of the program can make these announcements.
Each room will have an audio visual technician assist you with any technical needs. Please introduce yourself to the technician prior to the beginning of the session (they will be wearing a Freeman badge). When it is your time to speak, the technician will open your presentation and start the slide show. A mouse is provided on the podium to give you full control of your presentation (left click will move forward, right click will move backwards) and a computer monitor will be positioned on the head table for you to see your presentation while you’re presenting it. If more than one PowerPoint is being presented, please inform the technician which presentation should start first. At the end of each session day, all presentations are deleted from the education room computers.
Standard Education Room Setup:
Each session room will be set with a standing podium with microphone, wireless mouse, a projection preview monitor to follow what is being show on the screen and a head table with shared panelist microphones atop a riser/stage (when room sizing allows). There will also be a data (LCD) projector, projector screen and aisle audience microphones. Audience seating for each room is set in theater, classroom (chairs at 8’x18” tables) or a combination of both styles. There will be a literature table inside the entrance of the room for handouts.
NAHB Staff Contact:
If you are unable to speak on your session or have another type of emergency, you may contact the NAHB Speaker Ready Room 407-685-4102 during the hours listed above.
