2006 Innovative Housing Technology Awards (IHTAs)
Sixth Annual Awards Program Highlights Innovative Technologies and Best Practices for Homebuilder
WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 – The winners of the 2006 Innovative Housing Technology Awards (IHTAs)
were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the advancement of
technology in the housing industry at a reception in conjunction with the International
Builders’ Show in Orlando last month.
The IHTAs, presented by the National Association of Home Builders, NAHB Research Center,
and EH Publishing, are the most prestigious housing technology awards for the home building
industry. They recognize significant advances and best practices by product manufacturers,
integrators and builders in technology development for the housing industry.
"This program showcases some of the finest innovations in residential construction,”
said NAHB President David Pressly. "We are honored to recognize these cutting edge advances
in the home building industry that help improve the livability of homes while making building
and improving homes more efficient and cost effective."
Entrants were eligible to enter in four award categories: Supplier Categories:
Information Technology Products; Supplier Categories: Home Technology Products
& Services; Home Technology Integrator Category; and Builder Categories.
The Pivotal Homebuilder Front Office Version 3.5 was named the best information
technology product, while HomeLogic’s OneHome MultiBrick received the top
honors for a home technology product.
