Interested in Speaking at IBS?
The annual request for education proposals (RFP) is now open for the 2016 NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) and anyone interested in presenting can submit session topic ideas for consideration. If your education content is new and unique, we want to hear from YOU!
Each year, NAHB selects nearly 300 speakers to present education sessions at IBS in an array of industry topics ranging from sales and marketing to design to remodeling. Over the last few years, attendees have given IBS education strong reviews, but they continue to seek new and advanced content. So we’re looking for education session ideas that are original and full of innovative, cutting-edge content geared primarily to an audience with 10+ years in the building industry.
Share your great ideas and submit a proposal:
Get the official RFP document at nahb.org/speakatIBS and access information on the leading attendee topics of interest, attendee demographics, rules and guidelines for speaking and additional information for submitting a proposal.
New this year! The $50 application fee for submitting a proposal has been eliminated, so we encourage even more industry experts to share their ideas and proposals.
IBS 2016 will be held January 19-21 in Las Vegas. If you have any questions or would like to recommend a topic or speaker, please contact Kirby Simmering at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interested speakers have until April 17 to submit their proposals.
This was the third year for the Best of IBS Awards and there were over 400 product entries in eight categories, plus one of the eight category winners won the Overall Best in Show award. Check out the winners!
