What It's About:

The building and remodeling industries continue to boom. That means more competition is in the market, and with competition comes tighter gross margins. To maintain a healthy bottom line and continue to win business, it is essential that you have a solid understanding of the work-in-process schedule; however, far too many builders and remodelers do not track this metric in their business and financial statements which can result in misleading financial performance and poor decision making. This session will help you identify the key components of your work-in-process schedule, calculate billings and margins properly and ensure you have the most accurate data for your business.

What You'll Learn:

  • Identify the key components of a work-in-process schedule.
  • Calculate the under and over billings of a contract in process.
  • Understand how to analyze contracts for profit fade or gain.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
