What It's About:

No one doubts the importance of cash, but too many businesses rely too much on their checking account balance to be the barometer of their business success. During this advanced session, discover ways to improve cash flow, including timing and regularity, explore opportunities for improving management of cash, and look at accounting method changes your company and accountant should investigate. Learn more than a dozen techniques for improving cash flow and tracking cash inflow and outflow so you can predict cash shortages long before they arrive. We’ll also touch on why growth requires a significant amount of cash and why there is a dangerous lag in creating it.

  • Understand the difference between cash accounting and other accrual-based systems and how this changes the way you manage your business and pay taxes.
  • Learn a dozen tips to increase cash timing and the amount.
  • Learn how to create a cash flow statement, and understand the similarities and differences between it and your income statement and net profit.
  • Discover some simple changes you can make in normal business documents that will solve many cash flow issues.
