What It's About

There’s an opportunity to widen the gap between new and pre-existing home sales and it begins with fundamentals. FUN: If building and selling isn’t fun for you and your buyers, you're doing it wrong. Learn how to turn the chaos, confusion and high expectations into a positive experience. DUH: As amazing as sales have been, there is still untapped opportunity. Upwards of three times more people want a new home than the amount we sell today, which makes rethinking our process a no-brainer. MENTALS: We can’t improve what we refuse to change, and it needs to start with how we view ourselves, our industry and our customers. Once we begin to look at all three differently, we’ll be able to stop competing with resale and start selling to buyers we haven’t reached for years.

What You’ll Learn

  • Learn how to stop selling "old homes that have never been lived in" and recognize what features buyers want so you can charge premium pricing.
  • Utilize technology to take advantage of customization and personalization so your homes will practically sell themselves.
  • Explore ways to sell by the component so that you'll never compete with pre-existing again.

How to Attend

Participants must be registered for an All Access Pass or 1-Day Education + Expo Pass for the day of the session. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
