What It's About

Five topics. Two architects. One winner. You haven't seen anything like this at IBS before! Watch as two architects – who haven’t compared notes prior to the session -- battle it out over the most pressing design challenges and trends of the coming year. In one hour, they'll work to convince you that their approach to these five trending topics is best: attainability, outdoor living, flex spaces, memory points and elevations. And with live voting after each round, you’ll get final say of who walks away as the 2022 Design Battle Royale Champion. You won’t want to miss this lively, new IBS experience!

What You’ll Learn

  • Understand two distinct approaches to five common design challenges: attainability, outdoor living, flex spaces, memory points and elevations.
  • Identify how different approaches may be appropriate in separate situations, and how to evaluate which approach is best.
  • Discuss how regional differences affect design solutions to the same challenge.
  • Learn how attainability can apply to different components of the home.
