What It's About:
A common misconception is that branding is fairly straightforward. You chose a name, create a logo, maybe buy some matching shirts, all so prospects can tell you and your product apart from the builder across town. Today, thanks to social media, ad blockers, review sites, increased competition and more, creating a brand that is relevant and resonates is far more complex and the customer is more in control than ever. Reputation, trust and the consumer experience have become equally important as what you build, and all must be considered and carefully aligned. In this Game Changer session, hear from start-up veterans Koda Wang and Luke Sherwin who know a thing or two about building powerful brands. Sherwin co-founded the online mattress company Casper, and Wang was formerly COO at Huffington Post and CCO at Rent the Runway. They’ve now set their sights on housing, creating a new company, Block, that promises to disrupt remodeling and renovation. Koda and Luke will share their insights into establishing and managing long-lasting brands that stand out and, equally important, drives sales.
What You'll Learn:
Learn best practices for building and leveraging a strong brand in a highly-competitive marketplace and when selling major “life” purchases.
Understand the importance engagement, experience, relationship building and company culture play in creating a brand that buyers value and trust rather than simply buy from.
Learn how your company, whether new or existing, can apply innovative and disruptive thinking to differentiate your brand.
How to Attend:
These twice daily keynotes feature thought leaders who are transforming their companies and the way we think about and address issues critical to the housing industry. Full registration or 1-day education registration for the day of the session is required.
