Michael Kramer

Michael Kramer is a Partner at BSB Design & a recognized leader in residential architecture with more than 25 years of experience spanning architecture, homebuilding, development, & business operations. Having worked on both the builder & design sides of the industry, Michael brings a rare perspective to the intersection of great design, operational performance, & business results. Throughout his career, Michael has helped lead the design & delivery of communities across a wide range of residential product types & markets. His background in estimating, purchasing, construction, development, & architecture allows him to look beyond the drawings & understand how design decisions affect cost, cycle time, constructability, marketability, & ultimately, the performance of a community. Today, Michael helps lead BSB Design’s East Region while also playing a broader role in advancing operational performance, collaboration, & innovation across the firm. He is passionate about challenging traditional project delivery methods & creating stronger alignment between architects, builders, developers, consultants, & trade partners to produce better outcomes. Michael is equally committed to advancing the residential building industry. A past president of his local Building Industry Association & its 2011 Builder of the Year, he has spent years mentoring emerging leaders, participating in industry organizations, & sharing ideas through speaking engagements, panels, & published articles.
