The 9 Building Knowledge Session tracks are: Architecture & Design, Building Techniques & Strategies, Business Management, Land Development & Community Design, Project Management, Research & Trends, Sales & Marketing, Custom Building & Remodeling, and Multifamily Housing.

Do IBS education sessions count for continuing education credits?

Pre-Show NAHB Courses earn NAHB Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and, in some cases, continuing education credits for AIA and AIBD. These pre-show courses require a separate registration and fee. Building Knowledge Sessions, Game Changers and Super Sessions are included with the IBS Expo+Education Pass, but CEU details for individual sessions should be confirmed in the session search tool at BuildersShow.com.

Is IBS education included in the registration fee?

Yes. All Game Changers, Super Sessions, Building Knowledge Sessions, and AI & Tech Studio sessions are included with the Expo+Education Pass. Education On Demand (the recorded session library) is also included for Expo+Education Pass holders at no additional cost. The Building Science Symposium and Pre-Show NAHB Courses require a separate registration and fee.

Education On Demand is a post-show library of recorded IBS Education sessions. It is available to all Expo+Education Pass registrants at no additional cost, allowing attendees to watch sessions they missed or revisit content they attended in person.

What is the AI & Tech Studio at IBS?

The AI & Tech Studio is an IBS Education format introduced at IBS 2026. It features sessions focused on artificial intelligence and technology tools tailored for the residential construction industry. Sessions are included with the Expo+Education Pass.

What is the IBS Building Science Symposium?

The Building Science Symposium is a pre-IBS, all-day intensive program on high-performance building science held in a small, informal setting with top building science experts. It is open to all IBS registrants but requires a separate registration and fee. Space is limited.
