Learning Experiences at IBS
The NAHB International Builders' Show® (IBS) provides an unforgettable learning experience for nearly 1,000 students and their instructors.
NAHB hosts annual student competitions for students in graduate degree programs, four-year degree programs, associate degree programs and secondary programs. For two days, more than 50 teams participate in the NAHB Student Competition.
In addition to the competition, students network with industry professionals, meet talent recruiters from top home building companies and suppliers, attend professional development sessions and explore the show floor at a discounted rate.
Each competition has its own rules and guidelines, problem description and applicable supporting materials. To view the competition details for your program, register and submit project submittals, go to the NAHB awards portal. From the dropdown menus select "Student Chapter Awards - Competition Entry" and the corresponding program level.
