With over 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, Mike Benshoof has developed a comprehensive skill set, beginning his career in his family's business. He then advanced to NVR, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, where he spent seven years in production and sales management. Following his tenure at NVR, Mike served as the Director of Business Analysis for the Economics Group at the National Association of Homebuilders. From 2002 to 2015, he worked as a consultant, providing financial and operational management guidance to builders and remodelers across North America. Currently, Mike is a partner and President at Berks Homes and Red Door Homes. Under his leadership, Berks Homes, a private residential builder and developer based in Central Pennsylvania, has seen significant growth—increasing sales from $32 million to nearly $200 million in six years and expanding into new markets. Red Door Homes specializes in building custom homes nationwide on clients' lots. Recognized for his deep expertise, Mike is a sought-after public speaker and author. He has presented at prestigious events, including the International Builder Show, the Canadian Builders Show, NAHB's Builder 20 clubs, and IMN's private equity symposiums. Mike holds a degree in English with a minor in Business from Penn State University and an MBA with a concentration in Financial Management & Economics from Marymount University.
