What It's About:
Using social media as part of your marketing strategy is a complex topic because it’s always changing. You know you should include both a paid and unpaid strategy, but you don’t exactly know the right mix. During this session, we'll discuss the role both paid social media advertising and unpaid social media content can play in generating leads, driving engagement and building relationships with prospects. We'll debate which type of social media works best for which situations and discuss how you can use social media to create "earned media"—e.g., additional exposure you don't have to pay for or generate yourself.

Identify the differences and similarities between paid and unpaid social media.
Understand when and why to use each type of content.
Learn how to combine both paid and unpaid social media to generate earned media.
How to Attend:
Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
