What It's About:
Amenities, streetscapes, buyer preferences, facade design: these are only a few of the many considerations when building within or designing a new community. Where do you start? During this session, industry pros, with backgrounds in architecture, community design and real estate development, will walk you through the process of designing a community—or even lots within an existing community—that will entice buyers with a true sense of "home."
What You'll Learn:
Discover the importance of and learn to identify buyer profiles for your community.
Identify ways builders can enhance and contribute to an existing community, even on a single lot.
Discuss which components are most valuable in a streetscape and which can be left behind.
Using buyer profiles, learn how to incorporate your buyer's priorities in amenity designfrom walking trails and coffee shops to a lively restaurant scene.
How to Attend:
Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
