    What It's About

Join us for this high-energy, in-depth talk where we don’t waste any time jumping into the ups and downs of the project close out. Gone are the days of giving the client a roll of blue painter’s tape to point out things that don’t look complete—and the feeling of dread for both parties that comes with it. You’ll hear real examples and success stories of how builders have re-imagined the close-out and implemented a well-thought out system for doing so. Learn how to start the close-out of a project and manage client expectations from the initial sales presentation to the collection of the last payment. Leave with a system for handling the final days of the project to minimize costs, exceed expectations and turn it into a celebration instead of a race to the finish. THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE SESSION BEING OFFERED ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, FROM 12:15-1:15 PM IN ROOM W304.

    What You’ll Learn

    • Learn how to set expectations with your clients, so your company can exceed them, and review proven ways to decrease stress at job close out.
    • Find out how to ensure your clients have a clear idea of exactly what done means, before the job actually even starts.
    • Create a system for handling the final days of the project to minimize costs and get the desired results.
