Lift Gate

Flip-up countertops are a popular feature in many restaurants, stores, and hotels. Without the proper hinge, they can be difficult to lift, especially when your hands are full. No more propping up the countertops - lift assist hinges use motion control technology to make lifting the countertop easy. They counterbalance the weight of the countertop, so it feels much lighter to lift. This means that employees can lift the countertop with one hand, even when carrying a tray. Lift gate assists also prevent the countertop from falling, even when partially open.

Stainless Steel Stop

In a working environment, few things are more important than confidence in your equipment, and that’s exactly why Weber Knapp developed a Stainless-Steel Stop to work in conjunction with the Lift Gate.  This product fastens to the side of a pass-through opposite the Lift Gate and provides a minimally space-invasive surface for the Lift Gate to rest on in the closed position.  While the Lift Gate can support a considerable amount of weight without the Stainless-Steel Stop, this item gives the Lift Gate’s user the peace of mind in knowing they can fully trust the rigidity of their pass-through countertop.

Drop Gate

We’ve listened to our customers, and because a flip-up countertop is not always what a restaurant, store, or hotel is looking for, Weber Knapp added to the Lift Gate family in developing a robust and dependable flip-down countertop mechanism – the Drop Gate.  Our Drop Gate technology allows for a countertop to quickly and easily be lowered, allowing the user to pass through.  The design of this product securely locks the countertop in place in the “up” position, unlocks with a minimal upward force, and features gas springs to guide the countertop to the “down” position without the hassle of full-range guidance from its user while preventing the countertop from slamming when let go of.

Lift Gate Hinge

We know having multiple vendors for one product can be a headache, so we've done the work for you with our brand-new Lift Gate Hinge.  Every Lift Gate requires a piano hinge, but with so many hinges on the market, being sure yours will fit your application is no longer in question.  Our stainless-steel adjustable hinge is 22" wide, allows for 180 degrees of motion, is reinforced for the heaviest of lid materials, and features mounting holes for whatever fasteners your project calls for.  Stop by our booth to see this hinge in action!
