Accelerating Zero-Carbon Aligned Retrofits with Advanced Building Construction

What It’s About

To meet climate goals, the rate and performance level of residential building retrofits must increase dramatically over this decade. A forthcoming report by the Advanced Building Construction Collaborative builds on the most comprehensive characterization study of the nation’s residential building stock and substantial additional research and analysis by Collaborative and National Labs to provide retrofit guidance for the decarbonization of existing residential buildings across the US. This session invites participants to learn what retrofit performance levels may be appropriate for different US climates and building types and discuss tangible tools and novel technologies that can effectively implement these retrofits.
