Team WS Lakewood, Ohio

Mr. Sanderson has been involved in the acquisition, design and building of homes and communities for over 40 years. In Ohio, Mr. Sanderson was a JV Partner of National Developer Forest City for 13 years and became VP of JV's. He has entitled and developed properties in 10 states and the DC. He is considered an expert on sustainable land planning and development and was Task Group Chair for the 2012, 2020, and 2024 update of the NAHB National Green Building Standard for Chapters 4 and 5 (Land and Lot Development). In 2017 he was appointed by Governor Kasich to the Board of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. In January of 2019, Mr. Sanderson became President of Urban Community Developers, Inc., a 501 c3 non-profit focused on building market rate single family housing on vacant urban properties in Covington and the River Cities with the goal of accelerating neighborhood development and investment through new home ownership. In 2021 Mr. Sanderson started TEAM WS, LLC. Team WS provides consulting and owner’s rep services to cities, land bank and non-profit agencies, landowners, developers, historic building owners and new home and apartment builders and developers on planning, zoning, financing, operations, product design, marketing, and feasibility analysis for residential and mixed-use development opportunities. In 2022 Mr. Sanderson was appointed to the Lakewood, Ohio Planning Commission.
