Lisa Kells is a trusted professional who has over 30 years of experience in the interior design industry, beginning as a young designer at CDC in 1988, and working her way to a position as Partner | Vice President of Design with an intuitive knack for interior design as well as an eye for quality, in any price range required. Lisa is responsible for leading initial client consultations and working closely with clients to develop their contracts as well as the design for any scope they require. She inspires and mentors our team in CDC’s conceptual as well as schematic design processes where she is establishing the design vision for every project. Lisa works closely with the firm’s Residential Studio and Multi-Family Studio to consistently deliver a quality in design that exceeds expectations, while always respecting her clients’ needs. She oversees the material selections, design drawings and FF+E selections. Lisa has built a loyal client base that extends throughout the United States and abroad. Her enthusiastic spirit; respect for timeless design as well as her appreciation for current trends and cutting edge make Lisa an invaluable asset to both the firm and those she services. Throughout Lisa’s career, she has successfully designed hundreds of low income as well as market rate multi-family communities, model homes of all design levels, sales environments, clubhouses and commercial spaces, garnering much acclaim while always contributing to the overall success of the communities and developments she designs. Lisa’s passion for design is as important to the CDC team as her ability to have fun in the process! On the weekends you can find Lisa with her husband, John on their E-Bikes enjoying the SoCal lifestyle and spending time with their teenage boys.
