What It's About:

Today’s on-demand culture is transforming how customers expect to shop and engage with your brand. Consider that 38% of home buyers consider new construction, but only 11% purchase. Why are we losing so many, and equally important, how can we create the buying experience they expect and keep them in the funnel? In this TED Talks-style session, executives from two home sales giants—Zillow and Realtor.com®—will tackle these questions and more. Zillow will share their tremendous research into pain points that lead to an abandoned purchase, along with key demographics and nuances of today’s buyers and their journey. Realtor.com® will then provide insights into the marketing techniques and technologies for engaging consumers in real-time and how to leverage that connection for an easier, more personalized shopping experience. Leave with strategies to improve how you present yourself to buyers, eliminate pain points and, ultimately, close more sales.

What You'll Learn:

  • Explore the demographic makeup of new home buyers as compared to buyers of existing homes.
  • Understand the home buying journey for todays consumer and the acute pain points along the way.
  • Learn the marketing and media strategies most effective in reaching target buyers and best practices to overcome myths, misconceptions and pain points.
  • Leverage knowledge of potential customers online behaviors to improve discovery, engagement and connection.

How to Attend:

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Spotlight sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
