• Mark Thompson and Hill Dickerson
  Mark Thompson and Hill Dickerson are the co-founders of BuilderPad, a software platform designed to transform the construction industry by improving transparency, communication, and trust between builders and their clients. Mark, originally from Buffalo, New York, built his career in software and SaaS after a successful collegiate baseball career and a foundation in marketing. Over the last 15 years, he has generated more than $30M in sales, created over ten SaaS platforms, and successfully exited three startups, including the notable PayKickstart in 2023. His entrepreneurial drive and innovative mindset have consistently turned challenges into opportunities, fueling his passion for building solutions that simplify complex processes. Hill brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry. From his early days as a fireplace installer to co-founding and leading Dickerson Hearth Products with his father, he has always pursued craftsmanship, quality, and innovation. Recognizing inefficiencies in communication and trust within construction projects, Hill transitioned from physical products to digital solutions, dedicating his career to reshaping how builders and clients collaborate. The idea for BuilderPad was sparked by Mark’s own frustrating experience building a home and Hill’s vision to bridge long-standing industry gaps. Together, they combined Mark’s software expertise with Hill’s deep industry knowledge to create BuilderPad—a platform that empowers builders and remodelers to run projects more efficiently while giving clients clarity and confidence throughout the process. Today, Mark and Hill continue to lead BuilderPad with the shared belief that technology, paired with real-world experience, has the power to redefine how construction projects are managed and delivered.
