Washbox
Washbox is a global leader in professional washout and liquid waste management systems for the construction and custom home building sector. Founded by tradespeople and engineers, Washbox was created to solve one of the industry’s most persistent and overlooked challenges: uncontrolled tool washout that damages sites, risks compliance, and undermines professional standards.
Designed specifically for modern residential and light commercial construction, Washbox products allow painters, builders, and contractors to clean tools efficiently on site while capturing and containing wash water, waste solids, and microplastic emissions. By keeping liquid waste on site and out of drainage systems, Washbox helps projects maintain clean working environments, protect surrounding communities, and uphold premium build standards.
At NHBS, Washbox is showcasing its integrated range of practical, job ready solutions, including the Washbox Rocket mobile wash station, the ultra-portable Washbox Rover for vehicle based and residential work, and the RollerWash collar for fast, contained roller cleaning. Together, these products form a complete washout management system designed to fit seamlessly into everyday construction workflows.
The Washbox Rocket is a battery powered, self-contained multi trade wash station that provides its own water supply and closed loop filtration system. It enables multiple trades to wash tools on site without plumbing connections, discharge points, or permanent infrastructure. Its compact, freestanding design makes it ideal for custom home builds, fit outs, and active renovation projects.
The Washbox Rover extends this capability into ultra-portable applications, allowing professional washout to take place directly from a vehicle, driveway, or confined residential site. Built for contractors on the move, Rover delivers full containment and waste capture in a compact format suited to single family homes and small-scale projects.
Complementing these systems, and also available as a standalone device to be used with nay garden hose, the Rollerwash collar provides painters with a simple, controlled method for washing and reusing rollers. By containing wash water and preventing splashing or runoff, it helps improve site cleanliness, extend tool life, and reduce unnecessary waste.
All Washbox systems are designed around three core principles: efficiency, professionalism, and environmental responsibility. Every product is engineered to save time, reduce mess, and simplify compliance, while supporting higher standards of workmanship and site management.
Washbox is also the world’s first app connected wash station platform, giving users access to a secure cloud dashboard where they can view water use, waste captured, and pollution prevented across individual projects or portfolios. This data driven approach supports transparent reporting, quality assurance, and continuous improvement for builders and contractors.
With deployments across Australia, the United Kingdom, North America, and Europe, Washbox solutions are already trusted on hundreds of projects worldwide. The company works closely with builders, manufacturers, and supply partners to ensure its products meet real world jobsite needs and are ready for professional distribution at scale.
For custom home builders, tradespeople, and distributors, Washbox represents the new standard in washout management: practical, proven systems that protect reputation, improve efficiency, and support better building practices.

Product Launch Overview
Washbox is launching three new professional washout solutions designed to improve site efficiency, protect builder reputations, and eliminate uncontrolled liquid waste from construction and renovation projects.
The new range includes the Washbox Rocket, a mobile, battery powered, self contained wash station for multi trade sites; the Washbox Rover, an ultra portable system for vehicle based and residential work; and the Rollerwash Collar, a simple attachment that enables clean, contained roller washing and tool reuse.
Together, these products allow tradespeople and builders to clean tools on site while capturing waste solids and microplastic residues, preventing discharge into streets, drains, and waterways.
All connected Washbox systems integrate with the Washbox App and secure cloud platform, enabling users to monitor water use, waste captured, and pollution prevented across individual projects or portfolios. This data driven capability supports compliance reporting, quality assurance, and continuous improvement for contractors and project owners.
This product launch forms part of Washbox’s broader global commitment to eliminate construction related liquid waste pollution. Washbox is a Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action Maker and leads the Green Sink Initiative, a UN Ocean Decade endorsed program focused on driving behaviour change, education, and best practice in construction washout management worldwide.
Through these initiatives, Washbox works with industry, governments, and education partners to scale practical solutions, publish open access impact data, and support higher environmental standards across the built environment.
The launch represents a major step in Washbox’s transition from large scale hire systems to globally scalable, retail ready products, making professional washout management accessible to contractors of all sizes.
By combining ease of use, portability, closed loop containment, and digital reporting, the new range helps improve site presentation, reduce water use, extend tool life, and meet emerging environmental and regulatory standards.
Washbox products are already used on hundreds of projects internationally, and this new range is designed to support wider adoption through professional distribution partners across North America, Europe, and Australia.

Why Washbox is transforming construction and building maintenance
Why Washbox Exists Washbox was created to solve a problem that had been ignored for decades: the uncontrolled discharge of polluted washwater from construction sites into streets, drains, and waterways. Founder Andrew Crimston began his career as a commercial painter and contractor in Australia. On every job, he saw the same issue repeated: trades were washing paint, plaster, grout, and chemical residues into drainage systems because there was no practical alternative. The practice was widespread, accepted, and rarely questioned, despite its environmental and compliance risks. At the same time, Andrew saw the business impact. Unmanaged washout created messy sites, build program blockages, regulatory exposure, and costly inefficiencies for builders and contractors. Yet the industry lacked any simple, affordable, and scalable solution that fit real jobsite conditions. Washbox was developed to change that. Its closed loop wash stations and containment systems give tradespeople a practical way to clean tools on site while capturing waste and preventing discharge. By making responsible washout easier than irresponsible washout, Washbox removes the barriers that have allowed the problem to persist. From the beginning, Washbox was built not just as a product, but as a system for changing behaviour. Through education, data, and digital reporting, the company helps contractors understand their impact, improve performance, and demonstrate professionalism to clients and regulators. Today, Washbox operates globally and supports hundreds of projects across multiple regions. Its mission remains unchanged: to eliminate liquid waste pollution from construction, protect communities and waterways, and raise standards across the built environment. Washbox exists because clean building practices should be simple, practical, and part of everyday work, not an afterthought. -
