Eric began his professional career in 1999 as an engineer with a focus on process optimization, delivering higher net profit and improved quality output to companies from 10 to 170,000 employees. In 2006 he launched The Loop Technologies in Boise, ID, a residential and light commercial low voltage company. Offerings included security, lighting fixtures and controls, audio/video, data networks, and dedicated design services. As much as Eric enjoyed owning and managing The Loop, now a seven-figure revenue business, in January 2023 he exited to focus full time on his new venture IFP Connect, which designs, engineers, manufactures, and distributes a patented suite of networking products that allow fiberoptics to deliver networking communication all the way to the wallplate of a structure. He has continued his speaking initiatives including building associations, low voltage trade shows, radio/podcasts, and business development events. He still enjoys Boise with his wife of over 20 years and three teenage children.
