Kristen Fowler started her love for architecture at a young age. At first she was drawing homes, skyscrapers, and even brownstones, while also building structures with Legos. When she was 9 years old, her parents decided to finish their basement. Soon after, Kristen’s passion developed and thrived. She realized she wanted to be an architect after following the foreman around her parents’ basement as it was being finished. Her parents, knowing all she ever drew were buildings, told her about architects and how they combine art and building. After this, Kristen researched what architects do and started designing, through sketches and some computer programs. After learning drafting and competing in some design competitions in high school, Kristen went on to attend California Polytechnic State University. Ryan Spencer is a Project Manager and Dealer Representative at Dickinson Homes, who has always strived to make the industry a better place. Raised in the construction industry by his hardworking father gave Ryan inspiration to do more and want more than others around him. Working his whole life with his father from an early age gave him the desire for more excitement, which led him to sales and being a sales representative in the plumbing wholesale industry.
After marrying his wife, Ryan moved back home, where he stayed in sales until joining back into the construction industry. With his past knowledge in sales, construction, and customer service, he became a project manager within a short 6 months vs a long 3 years. Becoming a Dickinson Homes new Dealer Representative is his next task to handle. Assisting the rebuilding of a large group after 2008 will be nothing short of a challenge, but Ryan will go far with his “don’t tell me what you can’t do for me, tell me what you can do” attitude. His favorite part of his job is when the customer finally gets to the point where they let him take over the reins of designing the house, securing their trust. His biggest hopes are to take Modular Home Construction to places builders and buyers were always shy of in the past.
