What It's About:

Time is your most valuable asset, yet most construction business owners and their managers spend far too much of it reacting to day-to-day activities instead of creating a plan to focus on top priorities. This often results in more stress and lost profits. In this session, explore the benefits and the how-tos for prioritizing your time using block scheduling. We’ll debunk the myth of multi-tasking, and show you how to create an ideal week and build muscle memory for the operations of your business. With block scheduling in place, you’ll be able to communicate more clearly, lead more effectively and identify tasks to delegate, leaving you much more time to focus on the important tasks that drive your business' growth. THIS IS A REPEAT OF THE SESSION BEING OFFERED ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 21, FROM 12:45-1:45 PM IN ROOM N258.

What You'll Learn:

  • Define the most important roles that you perform every week, and identify what tasks you need to delegate to others.
  • Examine how to design a schedule that creates focused time for your most important tasks.
  • Identify ways to communicate your schedule with clarity to your customers and employees.
  • Determine how to adjust your schedule in any given week so that the following weeks aren't impacted.
