In a world forever changed by the pandemic, builders and developers are concerned about the future of new homes and communities. What changes are necessary to adapt to shifting consumer expectations? How can we deliver appealing homes in communities that help residents feel connected while minimizing health risks? During this session, you’ll see how historical market and design trends led to development conditions at the start of 2020, explore future community design ideas based on consumer research and input from builders and developers from across the country, and learn how how to generate success through calculated, research-based decisions about product type, density, community layout, green space, social connectivity and amenities.
