    What It's About

As wildfire seasons grow longer, hotter, and more destructive, builders are being challenged to rethink how fire resilience is integrated into construction. Beyond meeting code, there is increasing pressure to adopt assemblies and materials that improve fire performance while remaining practical to implement on today’s job sites. This program, presented and sponsored by Arclin, examines evolving fire-resistance expectations and explores emerging approaches to improving performance through smarter material selection and assembly design. Gain insight into how intumescent technologies are being applied in wall systems to enhance fire response, streamline installation, and support long-term durability. Real-world examples, including Arclin’s Firepoint™ sheathing, will illustrate how builders are addressing these challenges and delivering safer homes in high-risk environments.
