Scott Selzer is the Founder and Chief Product Architect of StruXure, the building industry’s premier designer and manufacturer of high-quality smart pergolas and cabanas. As a thought leader, influencer, and risk taker, Scott provides the vision and energy that has inspired the foundation of StruXure’s award-winning products. Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Michigan University and his Master’s in Education Leadership from University of Illinois-Springfield, and it was his experience as a part-time remodeling contractor during breaks from his full-time job as a middle school teacher, along with his determination to find the best solutions for his home-improvement clients, that led to his creation of one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. In late 2021, StruXure was acquired by The AZEK Company, and is now part of AZEK’s highly regarded, environmentally sustainable outdoor living products portfolio. Scott remains at the helm of StruXure and continues his innovative ways as he leads StruXure into the future.
