Michael Medick is recognized nationally as an innovator in the creation of real neighborhoods with design values based on livability, active mobility and sustainability. He serves as a principal at KTGY’s Tysons office and possesses design experience in all segments of the housing industry, notably in real estate development, community design and the revitalization of cities, buildings, campuses and neighborhoods. His extensive portfolio seamlessly integrates urban planning and architecture to create meaningful places with long-term value. Mr. Medick has served as chairman of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Housing Committee, a member of AIA’s Livable Communities Committee, and president of the University of Maryland School of Architecture Alumni Association. He currently serves as a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Residential Neighborhood Development Council and the Congress for New Urbanism (CNU) Washington, D.C. Chapter board of directors.
