Mike D’Amato currently serves as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Baessler Homes in Greeley, Colorado. Since starting with the company in 2011 Baessler Homes has grown from a semi-custom builder closing 25 homes a year to a production building closing over 300 affordable, quality homes. Mike’s non-traditional career path of starting in sales before moving into analytics and finance gives him a unique understanding of how data can be used (and misused), and what data company leaders need to make better business decisions. In 2022 Baessler Homes started down the path of integrating MarkSystems ERP data into PowerBI’s data visualization tools. This transaction has been critical in enabling company leaders to access key data visualizations in near real-time. In his free time, Mike and his wife Charissa enjoy “all things Colorado,” including hiking, camping, skiing, CrossFit, and craft beer.
