Gillian Sowray is the Co-Founder and CEO of Fordje, a technology company dedicated to streamlining construction projects by clarifying complex city codes and zoning regulations. Under her leadership, Fordje has developed an AI-driven tool that synthesizes extensive building and zoning codes, enabling users to quickly retrieve up-to-date requirements and reduce project delays. With over 16 years of experience in product development, Gillian has held significant roles across various industries, including climate tech at Palmetto, software at New Relic and various startups, and consumer packaged goods at Keurig. On behalf of Fordje, Gillian has presented at SXSW and pitched at the 2025 International Builders’ Show. She holds an MBA and an M.S. in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor's degree from Boston University.
