In her role as Director of Architecture, Katie is responsible for co-leading the Design Team at David Weekley Homes - one of the largest, privately-held homebuilders in the United States. A native of Lake Tahoe, Nevada with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo, Yost joined DWH in 2025 as a highly regarded Architect with extensive experience from several respected California architecture firms. With a strong foundation in production and custom residential design, she brings valuable design expertise across the concept and design development phases for a wide variety of single-family, multi-family, 55+ lifestyle, master planning and urban infill projects throughout the US and abroad. Since joining David Weekley Homes, Katie has led her Team with the belief that architecture should be beautiful, inspiring, creative, functional and most importantly: Livable. She strives to create thoughtful solutions that meet the unique needs of David Weekley Homeowners while enhancing the character and beauty of the surrounding environment.
