I started my energy efficiency journey about 19 years ago with infrared, and got into building science with BPI, RESNET and PHIUS. Just for fun, I added and worked in the commercial-industrial sector for 7 years and also completed my CEM degree, which was one of the hardest test in my life. Ventilation is part of my daily life for the last 12 years. Sometimes it can be a very callenging subject, especially with the North American climate, but I thrive on finding a sloution. It just makes me to work harder, analyze the data, find a root cause and come up with a solution. For me it is fascinating to discover how much we didn't actually know when we finally identify a solution for a problem. This is the real building science for me. I am a proud father to three children and a happy husband of my beautiful wife. My wife always introduces me as "a man who has a hampster wheel in his head and the hampster never stops running". I am happy just keep it running!
