Join the Lowe’s Foundation and Valencia College for an in-person presentation exploring effective models for skilled trades education. This presentation will examine strategies that nonprofits and community and technical colleges are using to remove barriers to training and expand access to skilled trades careers. Participants will learn about collaborative approaches that support the sharing of best practices among educational institutions nationwide and discover how grants are being leveraged to accelerate program development and student success in the skilled trades.
