    What It's About

    For decades there has been growing interest in leveraging advanced manufacturing to improve housing affordability and offset the shrinking construction workforce. However, the housing industry market share for advanced manufacturing has flatlined at about 3% in the U.S. while growing from 20 to 85% in Asian and European countries. This presentation will look at why this important innovation fails to deliver on its promise in the U.S. and solutions for how that can be reversed. Advanced manufacturing's potential to help address epic challenges confronting the housing industry is too important to remain on the sidelines.
