Important requirements for IBS 2026 exhibitors planning to have fire burning products in your booth!
Step 1: Read and review Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) rules and regulations regarding open flames, flammable lighters, torch lighters, candles, fire pits, fireplaces and hot works.
Step 2: Complete the OCCC Cooking and Open Flame Form (required for all fire burning products) and send to [email protected].
Step 3: A 2A40 B.C. fire extinguisher (5 lb. ABC) with a current tag from a licensed fire extinguisher contractor must be in the exhibit booth for any gas appliances, cooking or open flame. The fire extinguisher must be located no more than thirty feet (30') from any cooking, open flame or heat producing appliance.
NOTE: Provide a four-foot (4') space or barrier to separate attendees or the general public from a cooking, open flame or heat producing appliance. Depending on the intended use of an open flame product and the demonstration of an open flame device, a fire watch may be required.

Step 1: Read and review Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) rules and regulations regarding multi-level and covered booth.
Step 2: Complete the OCCC Muli-Level and Covered Booth Application (required for all multi-level and covered booth) and send to [email protected]
Step 3: A 2A40 B.C. fire extinguisher (5 lb. ABC) with a current tag from a licensed fire extinguisher contractor, must be in the exhibit booth for each level or each covered exhibit or structure.
NOTE: Orange County Fire Rescue Department requires fire watch personnel for all multi-level booths and covered booth and exhibits exceeding three hundred (300) square feet.
