Hotel Deposit

A credit card (valid through January 2020) is required in order to secure the reservation. A deposit equal to the first night’s room and tax (12%) will be charged by the hotel to the card provided when the reservation is sent to the hotel in late December. By providing your credit card information you are agreeing to that charge. If you do not provide a credit card, a room will not be assigned. Checks are not accepted for hotel deposits. NOTE: Hotel rates include a booking fee and shuttle transportation fee to and from the convention center.

Hotel Cancellation & Modification Policy

Room cancellations received on or before December 27, 2019 will be processed without penalty. Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival day or cancellation of your hotel reservation will result in a first night's room and tax penalty. Please refer to your hotel confirmation for the specific cancellation policy at your hotel.

If you need to modify or cancel your hotel room reservation, please follow these guidelines:

December 13, 2019: Final deadline to make changes and room cancellations online. Failure to check in on your scheduled arrival day or cancel your hotel reservation could result in a first night’s room and tax penalty. Please refer to your hotel confirmation for the specific cancellation policy at your hotel.

December 14 – December 27, 2019: Please send change or cancellation requests by email to NAHB@Experient-inc.com, by fax to 301-694-5124 or by mail to: NAHB International Builders' Show, Registration and Housing Office, c/o Experient, 5202 President's Court, Suite G100, Frederick MD 21703.

December 28, 2019 – January 1, 2020: No cancellations or modifications may be made during this time. All hotel reservations are being processed and transferred to the hotels. The hotel will charge a first night’s room and tax deposit to your card upon receiving your reservation.

Commencing January 2, 2020: You must contact the hotel directly to cancel or modify room reservations. Failure to cancel in accordance with the cancellation policy printed on your confirmation will result in the forfeiture of your entire deposit. Under no circumstances will NAHB be responsible for refunding or returning a processing fee or room deposit for a canceled room reservation nor will NAHB be responsible for any damages from a failure to cancel a reservation.

January 3, 2020: Hotel confirmation numbers will be sent to all those who have hotel reservations.
