2023 Master Workshops:
Leveraging Health, Wellness & High Performance Solutions to Meet Demand
Market studies show consumer interest in healthier homes and communities has been increasing for several years, and the pandemic has quickly accelerated these interest levels. No matter the price point, new build or retrofit, today’s consumers are prioritizing health and wellness so they can stay in their homes longer and improve its impact on their well-being. In this Master Workshop, leading experts in healthy and high performance building will explore the design and construction principles of a healthy home, and how to apply building science and wellness solutions to entice homeowners and meet their needs. Through real data, real examples and real lessons learned, you’ll discover industry-leading strategies for taking the health and performance of your homes to the next level—and do so profitably.
Revive & Retool Your Customer Experience Journey
Over the past two years, the customer experience has taken a back seat as we dealt with a frenzied pace of sales paired with continuous supply chain issues, construction delays and labor challenges. With the market returning to a somewhat familiar rhythm, builders and remodelers are left wondering how to revive their strategies and provide the experience buyers now expect. Fortunately, this Master Workshop has the answers! Marketing, sales, design, communication, change orders, warranties, referrals and more—no stone will go unturned as our panel of industry experts outline best practices for building a market-proof customer journey from pre-sale to post-close and beyond.
After the COVID Bump: Combating Margin Squeeze & Finding Profit in the Process
After the unexpected "COVID Bump" led to high and often record profits, most builders are now feeling the impact of material and labor shortages on margins, further aggravated by higher interest rates. While work to reduce material cost continues, builders will find greater margin opportunities through an aggressive, concentrated focus on their processes. This Master Workshop provides a macro overview of the 12 key processes all builders must create, maintain and perform in order to increase margins. In an interactive setting, learn how to effectively use Excel templates to systematically evaluate key processes with data, including schedule impact, true cost of variance, wasted trips to building sites and more.
The 2023 Design Charrette: Discuss, Design, Discover
