    What It's About

Density is one of the most effective tools developers, builders and architects have to address attainability, but designing for density can bring challenges for livability. This session shares real-world strategies for developing communities, designing floor plans and delivering homes that meet density goals while preserving privacy, fostering connections, and appealing to today’s buyers. Learn how thoughtful site and floor plan design, supported by photos and examples, can deliver single-family, attached, and multifamily housing that balances attainability with livability.

    What You’ll Learn

    • Uncover tips to design homes and neighborhoods that meet density levels that make them attainable while delivering the livability buyers want.
    • Explore ways to deliver floor plans that balance privacy indoors and outdoors on smaller lots.
    • Discover community design solutions that connect neighbors.
    • Identify ways to combine architectural styles and floor plan variety to extend market appeal to speed absorption.
