Michael Berke is Founder of Tempo Capital Group, a nationally recognized real estate financing firm specializing in the homebuilding industry. Michael provides builders & developers access to capital including financing solutions across debt & JV equity, in both for-sale & build-to-rent. He helps builders grow through unique capital arrangements & partnerships, and can fully capitalize new development projects especially when the stakes are high. His mission is to level the financing playing field for private midsize builders in order to help them compete. Michael set out to create a platform of the best sources of capital in the housing industry, creating a certainty of execution and a time saver for his clients. He attributes his results to his tireless effort to connect with top-tier homebuilder specific capital sources, along with his negotiating & structuring experience. Previously, Michael was a Chicago area builder/developer for 20 years, a CFO at a regional homebuilder, and an analyst for one of Chicago’s largest banking groups.
