Paul C. Schwinghammer is a seasoned home building executive with four decades of leadership in residential construction, sales, and operations. As founder and former president of Hallmark Homes (1992–2023), Paul grew the company into one of the Midwest’s largest custom builders—over 3,000 homes and $20M+ annual sales at peak—while leading a 30+ person team across sales, production, warranty, estimating, and finance. He led high visibility projects, including a 4,000 sq ft build for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and executed major organizational restructures, marketing initiatives, and process improvements that boosted profitability and client satisfaction.
Paul served as President of the Indiana Builders Association (2022), advancing industry advocacy, member recruitment, and education programs. Earlier he founded and ran ERA Select Real Estate (1983–1992), building brand and business systems from the ground up.
He holds a B.S. in Communications from Ball State University and multiple industry credentials—including licensed broker in FL & IN, NORMI Certified Mold Inspector/Remediator, and several NAHB certifications (Graduate Master Builder, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, Green Professional, Graduate Builder, Graduate Associate, and Certified Instructor).
Paul lives in Southwest Florida with his wife Winnie; they have six children and four grandchildren. He enjoys travel, golf, pickleball and classic cars.
