Kelly Anderson, General Manager of Ironwood Custom Builders, began his career at 14 building cabinets and furniture. After earning a degree in Building Construction, he worked as a framing contractor and then began building homes two years later. Since then, Kelly has become a recognized leader in the industry. He is a multi-award-winning Parade of Homes builder, having received honors such as Best Paint, Best Tile, Best Landscape, Best Finish Carpentry, Best Pool, Outstanding Master Suite, Outstanding Curb Appeal, and the coveted Best of Show. Additional awards and recognition include: Professional Remodeler Magazine's "Top Forty Under 40", "Market Leader, and "America's Top Remodelers", as well as the Salt Lake Home Builders Association's "Home Builder of the Year", "Spence Greer Volunteer of the Year", and "President's Award" Kelly has also played a vital role in advancing the building industry in Utah. He served on the Salt Lake Home Builders Association (SLHBA) Board of Directors from 2002–2008, served on its Executive Committee from 2008–2010, and led as President from 2010–2011. Today, he continues his service as a lifetime ex-officio member of the SLHBA Board of Directors. In 2022, Kelly was elected to the Board of Directors for the Utah Home Builders Association and is currently servings as its President for 2026. A committed advocate for community service, Kelly has contributed to Habitat for Humanity’s Blitz Build projects—procuring all donations and building four complete homes, each in less than 96 hours. He has also been a sponsor of the Salt Lake Parade of Homes Make-A-Wish rooms.
