Kelly Anderson, general manager of Ironwood Custom Builders, began working as a carpenter building cabinets and furniture when he was 14. After earning a degree in building construction he started working as a framing contractor and began building homes two years later. Kelly has been an award winning Parade of Homes builder ever since, winning numerous awards for his entries in the Parade of Homes including “Best Paint” ,”Best Tile”, “Best Landscape”, “Best Finish Carpentry”, “Best Pool”, “Outstanding Master Suite”, “Outstanding Curb Appeal”, and “Best of Show”. Kelly is heavily involved with the Salt Lake Home Builder’s Association serving as a board member from 2002-2008, an executive committee member from 2008-2010, and as the association’s 2010-2011 president. As past-president of the Salt Lake Home Builder’s Association, he now serves as an ex-officio, lifetime member of the association’s board of directors. In 2022, Kelly was elected to serve on the State Home Builders Association board of directors and will serve as the association’s 2026 President. Kelly is also an active contributor to the Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build projects, having built and donated, in their entirety, four homes from 2005 to 2009; each built in less than 96 hours.
