Matt Panella is a third generation carpenter and builder, working in his family business for the last 7 years, along with building and remodeling real estate. His YouTube channel, Matt Bangs Wood has built a following of more than 400,000 subscribers as videos about his real world experiences have gone viral since 2018. Matt has a goal to show the youth how fun and rewarding the trades can be at a young age. He founded Support the Youth in October 2020, dedicated to bringing pride back into the trades. Working with construction classes all through California at a middle and high school level, their goal is to show the next generation how rewarding a career in the trades can be. Along with in-person school visits, they have online content that has been featured in curriculums across the nation, with over 100,000,000 views since 2017.
