As Co-Founder and CEO of Clarity Tools, David is pioneering the use of Agentic AI to support contractors with scalable virtual teams, streamlining operations across remodeling and construction workflows. He began his career in the field with hands-on construction experience and has held contractor licenses in five states while leading teams and managing large-scale renovation projects. This foundation gives him a practical understanding of the challenges contractors face and how technology can meaningfully support their work. A core strength throughout David’s career has been problem-solving—understanding complex issues and designing practical, scalable solutions. This mindset has been key to building teams, tools, and systems that deliver measurable outcomes. Previously, David served as Director of Operations at Opendoor, leading national initiatives that transformed renovation workflows. His work included centralized systems, automation tools, and a platform managing 1,500+ monthly work orders. Before that, he was Head of Construction at Pro.com, launching construction delivery in seven markets, developing remote estimating systems, and helping build proprietary pricing and project management platforms. Earlier, he owned Monet Painting and Remodeling, growing the business 10x through process automation and tech integration.
