Simpson Strong-Tie

Jeremy Gilstrap is the Executive Vice President of Innovation at Simpson Strong-Tie, where he oversees Strategic Market Development, Global Product Development, Digital Solutions, Marketing, and Engineering. He began his career as a design engineer for a structural consulting firm before joining Simpson Strong-Tie as a field engineer supporting sales and regional engineering. Over the next 15 years he advanced through the engineering organization, ultimately leading it, before moving into broader business roles. His subsequent leadership experience includes overseeing operations responsible for manufacturing core product lines such as connectors, lateral systems, mechanical anchors, and structural adhesives, as well as leading international engineering teams in Vietnam and managing a manufacturing operation in China. As Northwest Regional Vice President, he gained full P&L responsibility across sales, manufacturing, and logistics in a multi-state region. In his current role, his teams help shape the future of the company by delivering the next generation of physical and digital products to market. Jeremy holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
