Todd Usher is a nationally recognized leader in high-performance, sustainable homebuilding and the founder of Addison Homes. Drawing on his early career in chemical manufacturing and a deep passion for building science, Todd developed a precision-driven quality system that ensures every Addison home delivers exceptional comfort, superior indoor air quality, outstanding energy efficiency, and increased resilience to natural disasters. Under his leadership, Addison Homes is among the limited number of U.S. builders that construct every home to rigorous national standards, including the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficient New Homes Program and the Environmental Protection Agency’s Indoor airPLUS program. Todd pairs his industry leadership with academic expertise as Director of Clemson University’s Master of Real Estate Development program. He holds four Clemson degrees, including a PhD in Planning, Design & the Built Environment, a Master of Construction Science, and an MBA.
