Help spread the word!

Nominate an ambassador for your HBA and help your members discover the benefits of attending IBSx, our industry's most comprehensive, business-building event.

”Our membership has enjoyed having an ambassador for many years. For those who have never attended, she provides valuable ‘how to’ advice on making the most of the show and provides an easy and concise summary of highlights, events and insights into the best spots to visit. We hope to carry on this benefit of belonging to an HBA.”

—Michael Stoskopf, Executive Officer, HBA of Southeastern Michigan

IBSx Ambassador FAQs

Who is an ambassador?

An HBA member who has the passion to help fellow members learn about IBSx and wants to serve as your local IBSx point of contact for members.

What is the role of an ambassador?

To serve as your HBA's IBSx spokesperson and increase member awareness. Your IBSx ambassador will share important updates and the benefits of attending the event, as well as provide the IBSx marketing team with any feedback from your members.

What is the goal of the ambassador program?

The program is completely voluntary and structured to support the work you're already doing to promote the event. The perfect candidate is a member in good standing who is eager to spread information about the benefits of attending.

What happens once someone becomes an ambassador?

Ambassadors participate in monthly calls and use tools to promote the event. Ambassadors have access to video, social media, banner ads and talking points. They also share ideas with other ambassadors and provide member feedback to the IBSx marketing team.
