Many discussions around the topic of leadership smartly center on what you need to do more of or be better at, or how you must have a constant focus on your employees and your customers. But these often also come up short as they fail to address one of the most critical points of good leadership—understanding yourself as a leader. This session focuses on four areas of a leader's life that need constant attention, otherwise, no amount of actions, programs, or strategies will ever work. In a world where leaders must serve and always be outwardly-focused, learn how your Philosophy, Persistence, Perspective and People are the keys to you and your team winning.

  • Recognize the four areas where understanding, thinking through and applying critique will not only help you but also the people and areas within the organization you lead.
  • Identify the three people that you, as a leader, need around you, and why those three people will determine the trajectory of your personal and professional life.
  • Learn how to develop a clear picture of who you are as a leader, why its important and how to share that with the people you interact with.

Participants must be registered for a full registration package or a 1-day education with expo pass package valid for the day of the session they wish to attend. Seating for Building Knowledge sessions will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
